Boi-ing Concealer with Boi-ing Pricetag

BeneFit Boi-ing concealer in shade no.3, with flash on.

Apart from pressed powder, mascara, blusher and lipbalm, concealer is one of the most makeup must-have for me. In some days, I can go out without bothering to cover up blemishes but not my dark under-eyes. Therefore a good concealer is a beauty must-have! At least for a girl whose face is full of flaws like me.

I'm glad that I've already found my skin's favourite concealer, in a form of BeneFit Boi-ing concealer in shade no.3. Retails at RM89,(that was before BeneFit Malaysia marked up their price to RM4-5 higher) this creamy-looking-yet-powdery-upon-application concealer is the best I"ve tried so far.

without flash.

Firstly, the shade totally blends with my skintone, thus avoiding my face to look like I have 'panau'. (You know, that patchy, uneven spots u have when your concealer is 2 tones lighter?) Secondly, the texture doesn't dry out nor clogs up my skin, resulting to a full yet sheer coverage. Just as what you wish for a concealer! Alas, with hefty price that costs me almost a hundred Ringgit, I'd rather stash my cash in my savings account than to repurchase this product.

You rock, Boi-ing. But it's time for me to ditch high-mantenance worker like you and opt for someone who's wallet-friendly. *Ehem, timeBalm shall I?*

Mimoo, Panther...and the rest.

Remember Mimoo and Panther? If any of you ever wondered about these kittens, they're still alive and (literally) kicking! Ever since their first appearance in my blog (sans Zorro, Spot and Tiger, another 3/5 of the feline siblings), both Mimoo & Panther have grown up, in fact they almost outgrown their mummy! Though I still failed to snap a group pic of them, here are individual pics of Mimoo, Panther, Spot, Tiger and Zorro:

Tiger: The odd one out.

Zorro: Previously known as Sylvester, but we found that name too wordy. The only boy in the family.

Mimoo: The least cute among the kittens, as well as a carbon copy of her mum, Moomoo.

Last but not least.....
Spot and Panther: How to tell them apart? Well Spot has a white spot on her chest while the latter is 99.8% jet black. Don't they look like ninjas here? LOL~

My Birthday Wishlist

Totally random: Moomoo with one of her LMAO posts.

The date is December 4th, 2009. It's that time of the year again when I turn a year older and this year, makes me 24 years young. Of course, what's a birthday post without a wishlist? So here goes my short list of this year's birthday:

1) Stay home and do nothing.
No kidding. Coz I've been going out running menial errands ever since my holiday started, so I barely had time for myself. Some opts for indulging spa treatment, some to a fancy dinner but to be shamelessly honest, my idea of 'me time ' (at least at the moment) is stay home and call as many friends as possible, which brings us to wish no.2:

2) Call as many buddies as long as I desire.
Maxis may not be the best mobile line service out there,(seriously, all mobile & internet services in Malaysia suck) but the free Maxis to Maxis calls on your birthday is brilliant. What better way to catch up with old friends/boyfriend than chatting on the phone for hours, literally?

3) theBalm Time Balm Concealer in medium/dark.
From a broke student to a frugal first-jobber, it's time for me to find a cheaper alternative to my trusted Benefit Boi-ing concealer.

4) theBalm Time Balm Foundation.
The same reason with no.3 to my favourite Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous Deep.

5) tsumori chisato for Shu Uemura Mini Brush Set.
A girl can't never have enough of make brushes, can her? I'm not Shu Uemura fan, but the brush collection along with the cute gold mini tote is oh so cute!!!

.................urm yeah, that's all for this year.

simple Eye Cream, Simple Result

Remember my last review on an eye cream? Since the 'high-quality' eye cream is such an eyesore (at least to me), this time around I decided to turn to a rather affordable tube of eye cream; simple REGENERATION age resisting EYE CREAM Phew, lengthy!

Priced about Rm15-19++. Made in UK

Retails at no more than RM20 (sorry for my bad memory, I bought this product 2 months ago), this UK drugstore brand promises to "repair and protect the delicate skin around the eyes" as well as "fights premature aging" with its "Green Tea goodness". No promises on fighting dark circle whatsoever therefore even after more than 2 months of using this eye cream, twice daily, my raccoon eyes remains dark and dull.

However, I do notice that my eye areas are well moisturized and at least, the minuscule wrinkle that I used to have on the corner of my right eyelid is gone. Not bad at all for a cheap tube! So ladies, wait no more and go to the nearest Watson's and grab one simple REGENERATION age resisting EYE CREAM 15ml tube, if you're looking for a decent anti-ageing eye cream that's it!

School's out, I'm in!

It's school holiday~ which means, I'm back to blogging! ^o^ As the Internet connection is less crappy here, and I don't feel like shopping every single day, (since I can't really afford to, by the way) I might as well stay home like good girls do so expect to see more beauty reviews, random rants and even more random pics throughout December.

Speaking of shopping, yesterday I went to my neighbouring Jusco to grab the latest issue of my fave mags. What was supposed to be a brief MPH trip ended up in impulse buying (typical HaNNa) Apparently Jusco's beauty dept was having a clearance sale for Revlon and Silkygirl. You know, those sales where they dump old items fit to be buried deep in huge garbage bins.?I thought I was strong enough.....until I spotted a RM3 nail polish. "Oh well, it's only RM3." So what did I eventually get?

Total damage? A mere RM11. Heheee~
